The Consortium of Networks of people who Use Drugs

HIV prevalence among people who inject drugs is rising, most notably in Eastern Europe, Central Asia and South East Asia. Governments force people into confined detox programs – often little more than prisons – instead of offering human rights respecting harm reduction programs.

The Consortium of The International Network of People who Use Drugs (INPUD) and The Asian Network of People who Use Drugs (ANPUD) globally represents people who use drugs. This consortium was formed in 2013 and includes the following previous grantees (grant period 2013): INPUD and ANPUD.
