Anne Skjelmerud is a social scientist who has worked with HIV related issues for more than 20 years, the last seven as a senior adviser on HIV in the Norwegian Development Agency, Norad.

She has previously worked as an adviser and consultant, and has a particular interest in communities and civil society, participatory methodologies, key populations, gender issues and the role of faith based organizations. She has organized several program reviews, evaluations and training and regularly attends the PCB of UNAIDS and the Commission on Narcotic Drugs (for Norad). She has been involved with the Robert Carr civil society Networks Fund since the start.
